Mike Mikus Mike Mikus, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on February 7, 2025. Formerly of Aurora, IL, he had called Albuquerque his home since 1970. His parents, Herman and Dorothy Mikus of Aurora, IL; and his sister, Carolyn preceded Mike in death; as well as members of his wife's family: Lucille Mallory, Gilbert and Rose Cde Baca, John Cde Baca; and his brother-in-law, Bill Higgins of IL. He is survived by his wife, Luana Mikus; his children, Michael (Karen), David (Celia), Marjorie Beck (Dan), and Dan (Kevie) Robert Kueffer (Mindy); his sister, Sherry (Bill, deceased); five grandchildren, Grant, Lexie, Alyssa Kueffer, Cassandra, and Aaron; his brother-in-law, Paul Cde Baca; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Mike was a 60-year member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers). A private memorial was held in March with his family attending.
