Nancy Long Nancy Long, of Albuquerque, passed away February 26, 2025. She was 74 years old. Nancy was a retired special education teacher. She taught at Ernie Pyle Middle School and Hayes Middle School. At Hayes, Nancy served as Head Special Education Teacher. Nancy was a painter and avid collector. She was preceded in death by her parents Worth and Helen Long. She is survived by her son, Tony Long (Shana), grandchildren Connor Long and Sienna Long, sister Barbara Long (James Sanchez), niece Marisa Sanchez, nephew Max Sanchez, sister Maureen Long (Joe Triscari) of Portland, Oregon, cousins Sandy Murphree (Julia Heckendorn) of St. Augustine, Florida, Pat Smith (Phil) of Houston, Texas and Harold (Spike) Murphree (Jo Ann) of Sandia Park, New Mexico. Celebrate Nancy's life by appreciating, as she did, our beautiful New Mexico landscape.
