Paul Charles Chavez Paul Charles Chavez (Pablo), 67, passed away on March 11, 2025. He was born on May 26, 1957, in Belen, New Mexico, and was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. Paul graduated from Del Norte High School in 1975 and was an alumnus of the University of New Mexico, where he cultivated a lifelong passion for Lobo athletics. Paul's greatest pride and joy were his two beloved children, whom he cherished more than anything in the world. He was a devoted father, whose love and laughter filled their lives with joy. Paul was a brilliant man, whose biting sense of humor was always quick to make those around him laugh. His warmth, wit, and laughter will be missed by all who knew him. Paul's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his two children, Curtis and Devin, his sister Linda; brother Benigno; and his soon to be expected granddaughter Eliana; as well as countless other friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at New Beginnings Church on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. to honor, remember and celebrate the life of Paul Charles Chavez.
