Robert John Delgado Robert John Delgado was called home to be with the Lord March 15th, 2025, with the love of his family surrounding him after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. Robert's faith, trust, and walk with Jesus only became stronger through it all to complete God's sculpting and developing of Robert's life on this earth to leave a most beautiful work of His hand. Robert was born in El Paso, TX in 1964 to Gloria Delgado. He would meet the love of his life and best friend, Yvonne Castañeda, and marry in 1996. Robert and Yvonne relocated to Albuquerque, NM where they welcomed daughter, Isabella, in 2002 followed by daughter, Bobbi, in 2006. He was a man of unwavering love and devotion who would drop everything and come running to help, no matter if it was even the slightest need. Robert was the most incredible "girl dad", always present for prayers, hugs, book reading, bike riding and driving lessons, compliments and confidence building, gentleness even in reprimands, and unlimited time. He thoroughly enjoyed grilling and cooking on weekends for his family, friends, and even any stranger. His smile alone would brighten anyone's day. Robert received a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from the University of New Mexico and worked for MCT Industries as Assistant Controller for the last 14 years. He was predeceased by his mother, Gloria, brothers, David and Alex, and niece Christina. The funeral service will be held at Jesus Chapel, located at 111 W Sunset Rd, El Paso, TX 79922, on March 27th, 2025. Visitation and viewing will begin at 10AM, followed by the funeral service at 12PM. A graveside service will follow at 2PM at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008.
