Robert Louis Pruitt Jr. With great sadness we announce the passing of our father, Robert Louis Pruitt, Jr., on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annette Clinton Pruitt; his parents, Robert Louis Pruitt Sr. and Mary Flynt Johnson Pruitt, and his precious grandson Andrew Thomas Pruitt. Bob and Annette attended Highland HS and eloped to Tierra Amarilla, NM on May 2, 1953. They had six children and were happily married until Annette passed away in 2011. He is survived by daughter, Pamala of Rio Rancho, and sons Robert III (Carol) of Plano, TX, Ron (Fonda) of Farmersville, TX, Rick (Cherri) of Lafayette, CO, Rod (Beth) of Abilene, TX, and Ryan (Allison) of San Jose, CA. He had 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, one niece, and numerous cousins. Bob was born April 6, 1934 in Collinsville, OK, and was raised in Arizona and New Mexico. After Bob and Annette married, he worked with his parents in the family business, RL Pruitt Sheet Metal Inc. He completed projects in NM, AZ, OR, WA, TX, and OH. Bob and Annette moved to Texas in 1978 and returned to New Mexico in 2002 when he retired. Bob was a proud Master Mason and Shriner since 1955. In this difficult time we are comforted by memories of our father. He believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and prayed every day for his children and grandchildren. Nothing made him happier than visits and calls from family. Dad's wish in his later years was to be reunited with our beloved mother, Annette, and to see extended family. We are sad yet happy that his wish has come true. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 29, 2025, 10:00am at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution NE, or livestream at www.sandiabaptist.org. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shriners Children's Hospital.
