Rosemary Devoti Rosemary Devoti, 93, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord, April 11, 2025. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and great-great-aunt, who lived a life dedicated to serving her Catholic faith, family, and friends. Her life was a reflection of the values instilled in her by her loving parents, the sisters at St. Vincent Academy, and beliefs of her faith. Rosemary was an avid lover of animals, particularly her Dachshund and Jack Russell Terrier dogs. She enjoyed the outdoors, New Mexico sunsets, anything to do with cars, going to the casino with nephews and nieces, and her coffee, cigarettes, chili, and beans. Rosemary was affectionately nicknamed " lead foot", and "the doctor". She was a walking encyclopedia of old Albuquerque families, businesses, and landmarks. Her lengthy work career included working with the City of Albuquerque Housing and Urban Development Authority, Municipal Traffic Court Division, and Bernalillo County Treasurer's Office. In 1966, Rosemary was the Democratic candidate for County Treasurer. In her early years, Rosemary worked alongside her father at Duke City Auto, where her passion for cars began. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Mary Devoti; brothers, Frank Devoti and wife, Jeanette, John Devoti and wife, Mickey; and niece, Ruth Devoti. She is survived by nephews, David Devoti (Marsha), Steve Devoti (Belinda), Tony Devoti, and Don Devoti; nieces, Janis Devoti, Jeanine Voller, and Christina Garcia (Silviano); great-nieces and nephews, Angela Devoti, Paul Devoti (Michelle), Jessica Devoti (Brian Cafferky), Nicole Devoti (Wendy), Michael Devoti (Linda), Denise Voller, Lisa Stanley (John), Chris Voller (Jessica), Marisa Mirabal (Matt), Adriana Devoti, and Dante Devoti; six great-great-nephews; and two great-great-nieces. A very special thank you to Maria, Rosemary's longtime caregiver, and the many dedicated caregivers who graced her life in later years, including Carmelina, Ani, and Bobbi. Our family also extends heartfelt thanks to the team at Home Care Assistance for their unwavering support, understanding, and kindness. Services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Monday, April 28, 2025. Rosary will take place at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m., with interment after the mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Please visit our online guestbook for Rosemary at www.FrenchFunerals.com.
