Ruben Baca 1932 - 2025 Ruben E. Baca, age 92, a resident of Belen, NM passed away on April 11, 2025 at his home in Belen surrounded by his loving family. Services will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome, NM beginning with a visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 11:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Mount Calvary at 11:00 a.m. Ruben was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome, NM. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his return from Korea, he married Lucille Lujan. Together they had five children. Lucille passed away in 1993. Ruben's daughter, Evelyn passed away in 1998 and his son, Rudolfo (Rudy) passed away in 2009. Ruben is survived by his other loving children, Angela Sievel (Eugene), Martin Baca (Valery) and Berlinda Eras (Ken). Ruben was the last remaining child of his late parents. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio V. and Elicia Sanchez Baca; siblings, Carmen Waid, Cipriana Sanchez, Ramoncita, Marcie, Joty, Tony and Olmedo Baca. At 92 years old, Ruben was preceded in death and survived by many loving family and friends. After his retiring from General Electric, he returned to his roots to ranch in Belen.
