Sandra Lee King Sandra Lee King, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. Sandra was born to George Garner Reser and Lillian Margaret Case on May 7, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Roy King, her children, Jeff King and Robin King, her grandsons, John Potts and Kevin King Jr., and her sister, Addie Bond. She is survived by her children, Cathy Godfrey and Kevin King, and her grandchildren, Teresa Potts, Kassie Potts, Harlee Holloway, Jeremiah King, BreAnn King Chapin, Stewart Wilson, and Daniel Wilson. She is also survived by her brother, John Stullenberger, along with his sons, John and Timmy, her foster sisters, Lillie and Sandra, and her great-grandchildren, who were so very special to her. A special mention goes to her dear sister-in-law, Judy Foust, and her family, who stood by her and Roy's side, as well as to Michael Potts, who was always there for them both. A devoted Sunday school teacher for many years, Sandra's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She found immense joy and support in her church family, who surrounded her with love throughout the years. She was not only a mother and grandmother to her own family but also a guiding figure to countless children in town, including her children's friends, who always found warmth and wisdom in her presence. Sandra had a deep love for the outdoors, finding peace in her garden and the simple beauty of nature. She was also an avid reader, finding comfort and adventure within the pages of her favorite books. Her hands were rarely still always crafting, creating, and sharing her work with those she loved. If you knew Sandra, you likely have one of her cherished handmade gifts, each a token of her generosity and care. Above all, Sandra lived a life of selflessness, always placing the needs of others ahead of her own. Her kindness, creativity, and unwavering love will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A service to honor and celebrate Sandra's life will be held at Westside Family Chapel, 630 Taylor Rd NE, Los Lunas, NM 87031, on March 1, 2025, at 11 AM. Light lunch and refreshments will follow.
