Sherry Elaine (Powelson) Cade Sherry E. Cade of Albuquerque, NM passed away from a short but brave battle with Colon Cancer on Sept 17, 2025 at her residence in Troy, IL. Sherry was born to the late Arnold Powelson, and late Bobbie Honea Miller on June 21, 1949. Sherry enjoyed life to the fullest. Her hobbies were wood working (which she was extremely talented at) and puzzles to name a few. She loved to watch squirrels, butterflies and birds of all sorts. She was an extremely hard worker and enjoyed keeping busy. Her pride and joy was her dog of 15 1/2 years, Smalls (now reunited in Heaven). Sherry had a beautiful heart and loved everyone that came into her life. A brave, beautiful, talented and extraordinary woman. A mother, grandma and Angel who will be greatly missed by all. Sherry is survived by her daughter Tina Symonds (Daniel Symonds), grandchildren Caleb & Cameron Symonds, Brother Ryan York (Ernesto Sanchez-Burjada), Robert M Miller Sr. Aunt Flonnie Bryant, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her best bestie Sheryl White. Sherry is proceeded in death by her daughter Debbie Montigny-Hall, her parents, numerous uncles, and furbabies, nieces, and brothers. Sherry chose to be cremated, and no services will be held per her request. In lieu of she ask that you make a donation to the Cancer or Heart Associations in your area in loving memory of her, or plant a tree in her honor.
