Troy R. Parrott Troy R. Parrott, 45, of Albuquerque, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was born in Albuquerque, NM. Troy loved fly fishing, camping, and cars. He spent hundreds of hours fly fishing on the San Juan River and other streams with his father. In addition, he spent many, many days camping with family and friends. Troy was born on June 2nd and was already camping on July 4th. Troy's other love was always building and racing cars. His GTO was one of the fastest in NM. That was his pride and joy. Troy graduated from Sandia High School in 1997. He continued his education with an A.S. Degree in Electronic Engineering from CNM and went on to a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University in 2001. He was a Mechanical Engineer at DHF Technical Products. Troy was a loving husband and proud father. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Meg) Parrott, children: Cody Parrott, Caleb Parrott, Hughie Simpson, and Lillie Parrott. Brother Brian Parrott and his wife Misty and their children: Brandon and wife Monica, children, Leenah and Leelan; Bradley and wife Jessica, children, Riley and Blakley; Briannah and son Ezekiel, all of Edgewood, NM. Also, his mother Cindy Parrott and his father Bill Parrott of Albuquerque.
