VeLynn V. Cordova June 9, 1948 - October 9, 2025 VeLynn Cordova, 77, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on June 9, 1948, to James and Sarah Vincent, VeLynn lived a life filled with love, compassion, and creativity. She devoted many years to a career in the medical field, where she cared for countless patients with kindness and dedication, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. After retiring, VeLynn embraced life's joys alongside her husband, Tony Cordova. Together they shared a love of adventure, especially riding motorcycles with many friends. She was also a gifted oil painter, and was an amazing cook. Above all, VeLynn's greatest passion was her family. She was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who found her greatest happiness in spoiling her three grandchildren, Robert, Ryanne, and Bodie, and spending time with those she loved most. VeLynn is survived by her husband, Tony Cordova; her daughters, Amy Phillipson (Robert) and Amber Kass (Brian); and her beloved grandchildren Robert, Ryanne, and Bodie. She also leaves behind multiple family members in Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sarah Vincent. A celebration of VeLynn's life will be held October 21, 2025 at 8AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Albuquerque, New Mexico where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the warmth she brought to all who knew her. Her gentle heart, laughter, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
