Willard Dennis Storey 1931-2025 Willard Dennis Storey, age 93, a resident of Belen, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Services will take place at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Monday, March 31, starting with a visitation at 9 a.m., a Rosary at 10 a.m., a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Dennis is survived by his seven loving children, Dennis G. (Josie), Michael (Jeannie), Geno (Yvonne), Paulette Torres (Tom), Carol Chavez (Ronnie), Anna Duran (Marvin) and Kristi Montano; 12 loving grandchildren, Mark Storey, Kellen Storey (Nancy), James Torres (Gabby), Brian Torres, Sophia King, Colleen Randall (Nathan), Jarrod Storey (Ashley), Justin Storey (Janessa), Jason Duran, Kevin Duran, Colin Montano and Nico Montano; 17 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Sara Storey; brothers-in-law, Bert, Phillip and Larry Griego (Linda); and many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Preceding him in death was his beloved wife of 50 years, Helen G. Storey; parents, James and Guadalupe Armijo Storey; in-laws, Col and Vera Griego; his siblings, David, Felipe and Roy Storey, Isabel Sanchez, Rita and Guadalupe Zamora; and daughter-in-law, Loretta Storey. He was born on July 4, 1931, in Bosque. He will be greatly missed, but will be in our hearts forever. Dennis served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he began his career with the AT&SF Railway, where he retired after 43 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed carpentry, wine making, cooking for celebrations, funerals and weddings. Pall bearers will be Dennis' grandchildren.
