Yolanda Ymelda Lopez-Minner 1955 - 2025 Yolanda Ymelda Lopez-Minner, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025. She was born in 1955, in Belen, New Mexico, to her loving parents, Filimon and Emma Lopez. Yolanda had five siblings and shared a special bond with her sisters: Elsie (Don), Dolores (Larry), Patricia (Philip), and Juanita (Allen), as well as their late brother, Uriol. Over the years, Yolanda and her four sisters were often affectionately referred to as the 'Lopez Lovelies.' She also adored and remained very close with her very large extended family that included many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Yolanda was a devoted wife to Jim Minner and the treasured matriarch of the Minner family. She leaves behind a loving legacy through her son Jimmy and his wife Alanna, along with their daughters, Aubrianna and Alayah; her son Will and his wife Jenna, along with their children, Brayden and Briella; and her stepson Steven and his wife Teddie. Yolanda's unwavering love and guidance will forever be remembered by her family. A woman of incredible strength and resilience, Yolanda was a proud cancer survivor who actively participated in numerous cancer walks, inspiring many with her courage and generosity. She also donated significantly to cancer research, a cause close to her heart. In addition, she was deeply committed to Alcoholics Anonymous, where she formed many of her closest friendships. She remained sober for over 33 years, providing support and guidance to countless individuals on their own paths to recovery. Yolanda will always be remembered for her determination, her boundless willingness to help anyone in need, and, above all, her deep and unconditional love for her family. She touched the lives of many with her generosity and selfless spirit. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in remembering a truly remarkable woman. Services will take place at Romero Funeral Home in Belen, NM on April 10th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Sheriff's Posse Hall in Belen from 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in memory of Yolanda Lopez-Minner, a cause that she was deeply passionate about, as cancer has affected many members of her family.
