Yvonne Eleanor Pettine-Padilla December 3, 1940- June 20, 2025 Yvonne Eleanor Pettine-Padilla, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Yvonne was born on December 3, 1940, in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Henry Pettine Sr. and Ernestine Gallegos, Pettine. Yvonne was the middle child of three children and grew up in a home filled with faith, laughter and resilience. On June 21, 1958, Yvonne married the love of her life, Wilfred Padilla. Yvonne passed away just shy of their 67th wedding anniversary. Their 67-year marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, together they welcomed and raised two beautiful boys, Brian and Chad. Yvonne was a devout Catholic and served as team leader for Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church for many years. Yvonne was a hairdresser for many, many years, she found joy in cooking for others, and she was a great cook. Yvonne is preceded in death by her father Henry Pettine Sr., her mother Ernestine Gallegos Pettine, her sister Sylvia Pettine Sena, and many more relatives and friends. Yvonne is survived by her husband, Wilfred Padilla, her sons, Brian (Lorie) Padilla, Chad (Lorraine) Padilla, her brother, Henry (Janice) Pettine Jr., four grandchildren, Aubry, Cameron, Kyler and Alexis Padilla, two great grandchildren, Calob and Christian. And many more relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 10:00AM at Sangre De Christo Catholic Church, 8901 Candeleria Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. A reception will follow at the parish hall. The internment will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
