New Year's Eve Dance Party at El Rey Mezzanine

Head to the historic El Rey Theatre to ring in the new year with its dance party featuring DJ Ren, DJ Batboy, and DJ Moonside. The party kicks off at 9 p.m. and will last until 1:30 a.m.

New Year's Eve with the Opera

Opera Southwest presents this year’s New Year’s with the Opera at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. The two-hour variety show will feature some of Opera Southwest's favorite performers, the Albuquerque Youth Symphony and the Opera Southwest Chamber Orchestra.

Ticket prices range from $35 to $85, with discounts available. Guests can also mingle with the cast, staff and crew at a post-performance reception, which is a separate add-on available for purchase.

New Year's Eve 1920's Gala

Duke City Swing and Juno Brewery are bringing the roaring '20s to life with their New Year's Eve 1920s Gala. Guests are encouraged to dress up, drink up and swing out to live music by the Burque Jazz Bandits, with a 30-minute dance lesson kicking off the night at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per person and include a glass of champagne for the midnight countdown. The celebration continues after the ball drops with DJ music. Beverages will be available for purchase throughout the night, and tapas will be served until 10 p.m.

New Year's Eve Masquerade

Embassy Suites by Hilton Albuquerque is hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner and masquerade party. This 21-and-over event features party favors, a champagne toast, a midnight balloon drop and DJs to keep the celebration going. Guests can also enter for a chance to win $1,000.

The evening kicks off with a dinner buffet from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., priced at $99 per person and featuring starters, salads, entrées, sides and desserts. Step into the ambiance of Studio 54 at Albuquerque’s Lobo Theater Lounge and Event Center for a New Year’s Eve celebration.
