The episode explored the concept of taking classic comfort favorites and creating new mashups, such as a spaghetti grilled cheese, or unique hot dogs. The menu here is full of quirky combinations such as Le Blue (bacon-wrapped, fried, grilled mushrooms, blue cheese, and thyme); or the Crafty Dog (mac & cheese, smoked bacon bits, and toasted panko breadcrumbs); a Korean Dog (your choice of all-beef frank, mozzarella or half all-beef frank, half mozzarella and then dipped in home-made batter, rolled in panko bread crumbs, fried until golden brown and dusted with sugar). Located along Central Avenue SW in the El Vado Motel — look for the crisp, white adobe exterior — this shop serves a wide range of dogs, including the New York, green chile dog, Mexican and its signature Hella Chili Dog, which is described as "Hella HOT." Restaurants on the motel's patio don't have designated seating, rather patrons place their order then sit on the communal patio, shaded with umbrellas and an awning surrounded by misters.
