Array Technologies tapped its next chief legal officer, which continues a wave of new leadership at the Albuquerque-based solar energy company.
Gina Gunning will take over as chief legal officer and corporate secretary, effective immediately, Array announced Monday. She will report directly to Array CEO Kevin Hostetler and relocate to Chandler, Arizona, according to Array.
Gunning has more than 25 years of experience and specializes in corporate law, governance compliance and risk management, especially in structuring complex transactions and complying with regulations, Array said in a news release.
“Her ability to align legal strategies with business objectives will be instrumental as we continue to lead in renewable energy innovation,” Hostetler said in a statement.
The appointment comes as Array has seen a significant new number of executives recently. Darin Green was named Array’s chief revenue officer earlier this month and Keith Jennings took over as chief financial officer.
Array in April broke ground on a 216,000-square-foot facility that will employ more than 300 people and have a $300 million economic impact over the next decade, according to Array officials. At the facility, the company will manufacture Array’s solar tracker technology products. One of the company’s areas of expertise is developing moving solar panels that more efficiently capture sun rays or avoid damaging hail strikes.
“I am excited to join Array Technologies and contribute to its mission of driving the global transition to sustainable energy,” said Gunning. “Array’s innovative spirit and dedication to advancing renewable energy solutions resonate deeply with me, and I look forward to collaborating with the team to support its continued success.”
