Meow Wolf Santa Fe gets nod from Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards
Meow Wolf’s Santa Fe exhibition, House of Eternal Return, was named an award-winner of Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards 2024.

The House of Eternal Return seems to be a fan favorite of Tripadvisor travelers.
Meow Wolf on Tuesday said its Santa Fe location, which opened in 2016, was named an award-winner for Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards 2024. The award for the immersive arts company ranks it in the top 10% of properties on the travel website, according to Tripadvisor.
For Meow Wolf, which is set to open its fifth permanent installation later this year in Houston, the award follows another recognition earlier this year from Fast Company, which named the Santa Fe-based company one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2024.
The recognition from Tripadvisor comes at an up-and-down time for Meow Wolf, which in April announced plans to lay off more than 150 employees across its corporate and exhibition teams. Then, in May, the company announced plans for a permanent exhibition in Los Angeles, one its CEO Jose Tolosa said would “blur the lines between reality and fantasy.”
The Los Angeles location is set to open in 2026 at the Cinemark complex in the Howard Hughes Los Angeles outdoor shopping mall.
In a statement announcing the Tripadvisor recognition, Kate Daley, a Meow Wolf spokeswoman, said the company is “incredibly honored.”
“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the enthusiasm and support of our visitors,” she added. “We are committed to continuing to provide an unforgettable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.”
