Take me out to the ball game to work
Young or old, if you’re looking for a part-time job this summer, the baseball stadium has openings.
The Albuquerque Isotopes is hosting a job fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.
Available positions include bag checker, bat boy/clubhouse assistant, mascot performer, music operator, security and more. Stadium concessionaire Oak View Group Hospitality Positions is also offering work in cashier, kitchen and suite attendant positions.
There are 24 positions open total.
Most positions, which are seasonal, run from mid-March through mid-October.
“Whether someone is looking for their first job or a retirement job or even someone looking to help supplement their income, working at the ballpark is a great opportunity for everyone,” said John Traub, general manager of Isotopes, in a news release.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and are encouraged to print out and complete applications in advance of the job fair .
