The Candy Lady

In business for more than 30 years, this shop is known for its "Breaking Bad" candy, which was originally made for the HBO TV show. It has a cotton candy flavor and comes in a brown paper bag with a business card to avoid confusion for law enforcement.

Buffett's Candies

This shop has been preparing chocolate and candy for the residents of Albuquerque since 1956. Customers can choose premade boxes of sweets or build their own custom assortment of chocolate or piñon brittle.

Sticky Fingers Candy

Opened in 2020, this shop is NM True Certified. The shop offers freeze-dried candy ranging from gummy bears to saltwater taffy. There is also chamoy sauce, which comes in plain, blue raspberry, strawberry and sour pickle flavors. Gluten and nut-free options are also available.

Mayra's Antojitos

This shop offers authentic Mexican chili powders and home-style chamoy, spread over a variety of gummy candies such as Sour Patch Watermelons, peach rings and gummy bears. For Valentine's Day, the shop is selling trays of assorted candies and nuts for $55.

The February flavor of the month is Cupid Corn, which features a mixture of cherry, grape, watermelon and vanilla flavors creating a brightly colored pack of caramel corn. Other flavor options include, rainbow, red chile, green chile, cinnamon, butter rum and a Chicago mix — cheddar cheese and dark caramel — to name a few.
