Firefighters respond to structure fire in SW Albuquerque

Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded Monday morning to a fire at an abandoned commercial building in Southwest Albuquerque.
A crew arrived shortly before 9 a.m. Monday to the 2600 block of Central SW and found the single story commercial building showing smoke, a news release said.
The release said the crew was able to bring the fire under control within 11 minutes, but the building had extensive fire damage, including from previous fires.
The release added no injuries were reported.
