Is there any better way to start your day than with an order of huevos rancheros?

Starting the day with a layered breakfast of corn tortillas, eggs, homemade refried beans and spicy salsa is a perfect fuel up, especially on cold mornings.

While Albuquerque has many local spots that prepare this dish, these five restaurants come highly recommended by guests (this list was compiled with the help of Google reviews).

Barelas Coffee House

For your morning cup of joe and a delicious plate of huevos rancheros, head to Barelas Coffee House. Come hungry, leave happy - that’s the sentiment of almost every customer review for Barelas’s huevos rancheros.

Take this one for example, “My wife thoroughly enjoyed her choice of the Huevos Rancheros Deluxe offering of 2 eggs with beans, chile and cheese drenched over home-made corn tortillas, with hash browns. Great start to the morning! We left happy! We left full! We left satisfied! Buen provecho ya’ll!”
