In 1999, Teresa started making tamales full time at a commercial kitchen and selling them to several restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores and individuals. After years of making and selling tamales, Teresa decided to open her own restaurant highlighting her tamales and other traditional New Mexican food. She has a passion for cooking and for people and it shows in her delicious food.

The Burrito Ladyis a hole in the wall you might miss if you're not looking carefully. Owner Consuelo Flores started a business selling tamales at Christmas. Eventually, Flores was asked if she could make burritos as well.
