As the fall season kicks off, health authorities recommend getting your updated COVID-19 vaccine.

By texting your zip code to GETVAX, you can receive a list of local pharmacies offering the vaccine.

To schedule an appointment, or see a full list of Albuquerque pharmacies offering flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines for adults and children, visit vaccine.doh.nm.gov.

At the end of September, the government began offering up to four free at-home tests. It is recommended that you throw away any expired tests. Visit the FDA's website to see if your COVID-19 tests' expiration dates have been extended.

It should also be noted that the CDC will no longer print COVID-19 vaccination cards, but do not get rid of your card, it is still an important health record that should be kept in a safe spot.
