New Mexicans head to the polls as early voting starts

About 200 people wait outside the Santa Fe County Administrative Complex to cast their ballots on the first day of early voting in this Oct. 8 file photo. More than 663,000 New Mexicans cast votes via early and absentee voting before the end of early voting on Saturday, according to the Secretary of State's Office. That figure represents about 48.2% of all registered voters statewide.
