For the second year in a row, the New Mexico Ice Wolves hosted a school day matinee game for students across Albuquerque.

Students had the chance to meet the Ice Wolves’ mascot, Chilly, play air hockey and even fist-bump the players as they headed out to the ice.

The Ice Wolves also wore special edition Locker #505 jerseys in honor of the nonprofit student clothing bank. The team will host a “skivvy toss” on Saturday, where fans are encouraged to bring new packages of boys and girls underwear to toss onto the ice after the Ice Wolves’ first goal.

The clothing will be donated to Locker #505.
