Albuquerque nerds can look forward to joining together for a four-day tabletop gaming convention loaded with card games, table-top games, role-playing games and even the debut of new games from local designers at the third annual MañanaCon.

The event will take place Aug. 17 through 20 at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown.

"MañanaCon creates a fun, family-friendly, inclusive environment for Burqueños to try new games, make new friends, and build up the local Albuquerque gaming community," a news release stated.

The featured games are:

  • MegaCivilization — a twelve-hour experience for up to 18 players

  • Memoir ‘44: Overlord — a World War II game with custom terrain and team play

  • Brindlewood Bay — a role-playing game about elderly book club members solving crimes

  • Local designers debuting new games

The cost to attend the con is $99 for the weekend, $29 for Thursday or Friday and $49 for Saturday or Sunday. Online ticket sales are closed, but a limited amount of tickets can still be purchased at the door.
