Immersive experiences.

Electric Playhouse knows how to bring a new world to life.

This is the reason the Albuquerque-based company has branched out to giving immersive dining experiences.

Its latest is called “Cosmic Odyssey.” The dining experience is held at 6:30 p.m. each Friday in September at Electric Playhouse.

“We’re thrilled to launch ‘Cosmic Odyssey,’ an experience that combines immersive art and fine dining in a way that’s never been done before,” says Brandon Garrett, Electric Playhouse CEO. “Leveraging our cutting-edge motion tracking technology, we’re elevating the entire dining experience into a state-of-the-art culinary adventure. This is just the beginning; every month we’ll introduce a new themed dinner, offering a continuous journey of sensory delights throughout the year.”

“Cosmic Odyssey” takes diners in an experience through an intergalactic journey through the cosmos.

Garrett says each person will step into a space-themed immersive dinner that will enchant you with celestial visuals and delectable culinary creations that are out of worldly.

The dinner is a four-course experience.

The first is the Lift-Off Course, which is Mac and Cheese Asteroids, which are served with marinara sauce, shaved Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.

The second course, Solar System Course, is a Red Moon Watermelon Salad which has fresh arugula, watermelon, candied pistachios, mint, balsamic glaze and Gorgonzola.

The Shooting Star Course is a choice of four entrees. They are:

Seared Sea Scallops – Pan-seared scallops, asparagus mashed potatoes, heirloom baby carrots and garlic-butter sauce.

Flying Roasted Chicken – Pan-seared airline chicken breast, spicy rub blend, pureed cauliflower, sweet potato mash potato and heirloom baby carrots.

Beef Wellington – Prosciutto, mushroom puree, filet, puff pastry, white truffle oil mashed potatoes, heirloom baby carrots and mushroom demi-glace.

Roasted-Stuffed Tomato – Tri-color quinoa, sweet potato mash potato and heirloom baby carrots.

The final course is the Super Nova Course which comes with a choice of:

Galaxy Chocolate Marquise – Dark truffle mousse, hazelnut and white chocolate bits.

Venus Raspberry Sorbet – Fresh strawberries, mint and berries coulis.

There is also a paired drink menu for an additional cost and for those over 21 and over.

Garrett says purchasing a ticket to the immersive dinner also includes admission to Electric Playhouse until it closes at 10 p.m.
