Tie things up. Tie things down. Use it to survive.

Paracord, duct tape’s stringy cousin, is an essential for adventuring.

Substitute it in for missing rope, dog ties and other stringy setups across the camp site. Paracord, type III commercial grade parachute cord, is stronger than string and great for many repairs.

You can buy two dozen multicolor 10-foot pieces of it for $12 on Amazon to craft your way to art or survival.

I am not the lone fan of it. Paracord Planet delves into 85 uses for paracord on its website, paracordplanet.com.
