Live @ Winrock” is back to rock out as it kicks-off a free concert series for fall.

The lineup includes Squash Blossom Boys, Ryan Painter & The Resistors, Ivon Ulibarri & Cafe Mocha, Felix y Los Gatos, Kevin Herig, Reviva, Pink Freud and Sails Dept.

“It’s a free community event on Friday nights featuring local bands and small touring bands,” Sheila Smith, Winrock director of leasing and marketing, said, “and really just kind of creating a space to highlight our local talent.”

Winrock Park opened in 2024 and has since hosted a summer concert series and artisan markets. The fall concerts start Friday, Sept. 19, and runs through Oct. 10.

“I always think it’s important to support local with our markets, with local vendors and then the artists,” Smith said. “And just be able to give them a stage to perform on and be able to get in front of a new audience.”

David Stroud, Winrock event curator, said the success of past events influenced doing a fall series.

“We dabbled in it last fall, and then the one we did in the spring just really kind of knocked our socks off,” Stroud said.

Stroud said that he finds the community enjoys these events.

“This project’s been in the works for many years,” Stroud said. “So the community is kind of excited to see it at this tipping point where the park’s open.”

The concert series features artists centered around themed nights. The last night of the series will include a laser light show and an artisan market.

Smith said the theme nights, which include country and salsa, were received well by concertgoers and Winrock wanted to build on that.

“Our biggest thing is just to be able to bring community and family together,” Smith said.
