Headed out to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert Friday at Isleta Amphitheater?

According to promoter Live Nation, University Boulevard continues to be closed, so Bobby Foster Road is the only route in.

“We encourage fans to come early and beat the traffic,” Live Nation said in a news release.

University is closed indefinitely because of investigations related to a fighter jet crash May 28 near the Albuquerque International Sunport. An Air Force pilot was injured after ejecting from the fighter jet that crashed into a hill. .

Live Nation will open the parking lot at noon.

The doors swing open early at 4 p.m., so fans can join the pre-party.

“Shop artist merch early, enjoy on-site entertainment and vibe with fellow fans,” Live Nation said. “As a bonus, the first 2,000 fans at our pre-party get a free ticket to select upcoming shows.”

Live Nation accommodated fans with early entrance into the Brooks & Dunn show on June 1 to alleviate traffic.
