A hand on history
Wingfield Heritage House Museum is hosting a Hands-on History Family Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1. The free event will feature souvenir postcard making, scavenger hunt and more. The museum is located at 2813 Sudderth Drive in Ruidoso.
Tale as old as time
The Ballet Repertory Theatre of New Mexico is bringing “Beauty & the Beast” to the stage for three performances. Head to the KiMo Theatre at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2. Tickets are $22-$30 at cabq.gov/artsculture/kimo/events. The KiMo is located at 423 Central Ave. NW.
Strum along
The 25th annual North American Tour of International Guitar Night is coming to the Macey Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. The lineup includes Lulo Reinhardt, Niwel Tsumbu, Alexandra Whittingham and more. Tickets are $8-$20 at nmt.edu/pas. The Macey Center is located at 801 Leroy Place in Socorro.

University of New Mexico Music alumnus Fred Sturm will be playing the music of Frederic Mompou at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. Tickets are $12-$20, plus fees, at unmtickets.com. Keller Hall is located at 203 Cornell Drive NE.
Maintain a slice of history
The Historic Fairview Cemetery is hosting a volunteer cleanup event at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 1. Volunteers are asked to bring their own tools and gloves. The cemetery is located at 700 Yale Blvd. SE.

Santa Fe Pro Musica presents the Isidore Quartet in a concert event at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 2. The program includes music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gabriella Smith and Felix Mendelssohn.
