Take a walk

The Old Town Albuquerque Art and History Tour is returning Saturday, June 7. The two-hour walking tour starts at 10 a.m. and features stops at the Albuquerque Museum, art galleries and Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel. Tickets are $60-$85, plus fees, at albuquerquearttours.com.

Celestial bodies

The Albuquerque Astronomical Society is hosting a Star Party from 5:30-10 p.m. Saturday, June 7. The event will feature solar observing until sunset and night observing after. TAAS is reminding eventgoers to park at the northeast corner of the big lot (look for the equestrian sign) at Rio Grande and Alameda boulevards, accessible from Alameda. The trail to the Bachechi Education Building will be marked. Visit taas.org for more information.

Going green

For the first time in 20 years, the Parade of Gardens is featuring the West Side. From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 8, eventgoers can visit eight private gardens. Tickets are $20-$40, at albuquerquegardencenter.org/parade-of-gardens, or at area nurseries. Children under 12 are free with an accompanying adult.

Keep on truckin’

The fourth Albuquerque Touch-a-Truck is coming to Franklin Plaza, on the northeast corner of Central Avenue and Juan Tabo Boulevard, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 7. Get up close and personal with fire trucks, rescue vehicles, construction equipment and more. The free event will also feature city departments, including Animal Welfare, Parks and Recreation, libraries and more, on hand with information for eventgoers.

Spring to life

El Rancho de Las Golondrinas, 334 Los Pinos Road in Santa Fe, is hosting the Santa Fe Spring Festival on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $20.33-$22.45 at golondrinas.org, with children 12 and under free.

Once more with feelings

Movies in the Park is back with a screening of “Inside Out 2” at 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 6. The event is free at the Westside Community Center, 1250 Isleta Blvd. SW.

Folk art finds

The Folk Art Flea is back from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7. The free event benefits the Museum of International Folk Art through the sales of folk art, clothing, ceramics, jewelry and more. The flea will be held at the Santa Fe County Building, 3229 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe. Visit museumfoundation.org for more information.
