People jump into the cold water of Storrie Lake to celebrate 2025

She and close to 140 people took a plunge into the lake, where ice was floating around the edge, to celebrate the New Year. Earlier a State Park employee cleared sheets of ice from the area. This was the 28th annual Polar Plunge at Storrie Lake, which was started by a few Kiwanis members and students at Highlands University in 1996.
