Albuquerque did not receive snow on Monday, but it did get some moisture.
About .11 inches of rain fell during the day, including the late afternoon when it came down with winds gusting as high as 41 mph.
Rio Rancho received between a tenth and a quarter-inch of rain on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
There was some snow in Clines Corner and between Santa Fe and Glorietta Pass Monday, though NWS Albuquerque meteorologist Clay Anderson said it was nothing that caused “significant road issues.”
Anderson said that over the past three days, the Metro area got up to .75 inches of moisture.
While the amount is not abnormal, the fact that it rained for three straight days is unusual, he said.
The weather should clear up Tuesday and remain sunny and warm into Thanksgiving Day and Friday with highs in the mid-50s.
Anderson said that often times in the last week of November and around Thanksgiving, Albuquerque sees its first significant snowstorm of the year, “but that doesn’t seem to be the case this year.”
He added, however, that places north and northeast like Las Vegas and Clayton could see some snow on Friday.
