Two Santa Fe men, including a middle school math teacher, have been accused of buying child sex abuse material.

Pablo Angeles-Guaderrama, 34, and Orlando Perea, 21, are being charged with sexual exploitation of children (distribution) and criminal solicitation to commit a felony. They are being held at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Police identified Angeles-Guaderrama as a math teacher at Ortiz Middle School.

Santa Fe Police Department spokesman Capt. Aaron Ortiz said during an undercover operation, detectives were contacted by two men on an unidentified social media website who tried to "solicit child sexual abuse material of a minor" younger than 10.

Perea and Angeles-Guaderrama were arrested at their Santa Fe County and Santa Fe homes this week.

The case is still under investigation.

Attempts were made to reach Santa Fe Public Schools and Ortiz Middle School principal Felicia Sena but SFPS is currently on winter break.
