Best places to view the fireworks in Albuquerque outside of Balloon Fiesta Park

Published Modified

The city is set to celebrate the Fourth of July with events at Balloon Fiesta Park. The festivities start at 3 p.m. and the city's fireworks show will begin at 9:15 p.m.

If you want to watch the fireworks and not have to deal with the crowds, consider visiting one of these other locations away from the park but with a decent view of the show:

  • Tramway NE, north of Paseo Del Norte

  • Sandia Pueblo Railrunner Station

  • Tin Can Alley rooftop, 6110 Alameda NE (open until 10 p.m.)

  • Along Unser near Pasel Del Norte NW

  • Vista Del Norte Park, 1005 Osuna NE

  • John B. Robert Dam

  • Louisiana north of Alameda NE

Please obey traffic laws and park in designated parking areas only.

To report illegal fireworks dial 311 and press 1.
