Cedar Crest deaths ruled as possible 'murder-suicide,' BCSO says

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible murder-suicide in Cedar Crest.
At 4:55 a.m. Sunday, the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office responded to a request for a welfare check on Mulberry Loop.
When deputies arrived, they found the bodies of Jesse Howser, 29, and Ashley Lopez, 34.
Detectives are investigating the incident as a "potential murder-suicide," BCSO spokesperson Jayme Gonzales said.
"The exact circumstances surrounding the deaths are still under investigation, with final determinations pending the completion of a report by the Office of the Medical Investigator," she said.
