Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $2,500 reward for information regarding a fatal hit-and-run last month in Southeast Albuquerque.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Feb. 10, the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a call of a crash at the intersection of Zuni and Ortiz.

When they arrived, they found a woman “lying across lanes of traffic,” APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said.

Surveillance video later showed a black sedan heading east on Zuni when the driver hit the woman before driving off, according to an Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers social media post.

If anyone has information, they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers, anonymously at 505-843-STOP (7867) or p3tips.com/531, the post states.
