Avast ye matey! The sixth annual Pirate Viking Summer Festival took place last weekend in Edgewood. Attendees headed down to the Wildlife West Nature Park dressed in their best pirate and Viking outfits to partake in a quest or enjoy one of the event’s several shows. Shamshir, an Albuquerque sword and belly dance troupe, and a stowaway python named Stewart from Scales and Shells Herpetarium drew attention at the festival.
