Police investigate death inside West Central business

Police are investigating a "suspicious death" after a man's body was found inside a business on the west end of Central Avenue.
Albuquerque Police Department spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said Thursday that the death was reported at the Pow Wow Country Club at 10125 Central, near 98th, around noon.
The business is listed as permanently closed online.
"Investigators determined the man had suspicious injuries and initiated a violent crimes investigation," Gallegos wrote in the release.
Police do not know the cause of death, which is why it is considered suspicious, he said.
Gallegos did not give additional details and said more information would be released at a later time.
