A rollover crash on southbound Interstate 25 led to no injuries but a call from Albuquerque police to the New Mexico Gas Co. because it happened near a gas pipeline.

The two-car crash, which took place between Jefferson and Montgomery before 3 p.m., led to a gray Ford Ranger rolling over into the dirt near the frontage road.

Responding officer Ezra Esquibel said there were no injuries in the crash, which also included a blue Ford Escape. There was one person — the driver — in the Ranger.

But because the rollover happened near a gas pipeline, Esquibel said a call was made to the gas company as precaution. The smell of gas was not apparent, he said.

The crash temporarily reduced the southbound frontage road to one lane only in the area.
