Marcia Toll Saunders Marcia Toll Saunders, aged 94, died at her home in Corrales, NM, on February 7, 2025. Marcia was born in Denver, CO, on July 14, 1930. She graduated from The Kent School for Girls in Denver, Smith College, and The University of Colorado Law School. Following graduation from law school, she worked for the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, DC, where she met her husband Chuck. They married in Denver in 1961. Marcia was a member of The National Society of Colonial Dames of America, serving as a Regional Vice President, and served on the board of Sandia Preparatory School. She was a volunteer with a multitude of organizations including Recording for the Blind and the Corrales Library. Marcia enjoyed skiing, tennis, horseback riding, the care of all animals, any card game and, particularly, a good game of Parcheesi. Among family and friends, she was known for her amazing memory for names and dates. She always had a warm smile for everyone. Marcia was predeceased by her husband, Charles Lunsford Saunders, Jr.; and is survived by her son, Charlie Saunders and wife Kristin Kjeldgaard of Corrales, NM; and her daughter, Sarah Kish and husband Steve Kish of Newton, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Soren, Emma and Finnegan Saunders, and Emily and Peter Kish, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Henry Wolcott and Cyrena Van Syckel Martin Toll, and the sister of the late Karel Toll Henneman, the late Giles Toll, and the late Henry Toll, Jr. The family extends thanks to all of her wonderful caregivers, especially in her final years.
