APD investigating 'suspicious death' in NE ABQ

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the death of a man whose body was found Friday evening outside a Smith’s store in the Northeast Heights.
On Saturday, APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said officers discovered the body in the parking lot of the grocery store in the 200 block of Tramway NE, near Montgomery.
Police did not identify the man.
"Due to the suspicious nature of the incident, a homicide callout was initiated, and the incident is being investigated as a suspicious death," he said.
